lol yea I guess at that point its wreckless driving and going to jail anyways.. Well.. today, inspired by this thread, I at least maxed out the speedo and hit 140..
Why on earth would this speedo stop at 140... Ive always owned trucks before and most of my truck speedo's went that high and would even touch the top end... Now I have something that will blow by the end of the speedo and I don't know how fast It'll go!!

Just stick a portable GPS in the car, I know Garmins will give you the max speed (hey if it works on a jet airplane at 20,000 feet it should work here as well).
On the thread subject, I've just broken over 100 mph with mine. Not interested in going to jail or buying stock in the local government so I don't do this often and probably won't go higher.

Remember the old days?
I was out at 2 AM one night with my friends when I was about 20 yo. We were going as fast as a 68 Fairlane 500 big block could go (speedo stopped at 120) and got caught by the California Highway Patrol. After we were thoroughly cussed out and yelled out and made to nearly sh*t our pants, they let us go so we could cry all the way home.
It worked just as good as going to jail for keeping us slowed down and we didn't get kicked out of college.

Hey... Read all about you guys every day in the newspapers; wrapped around a telephone pole somewhere.
Seriously, please take it to the track and don't endanger yourself and others. You don't want to have to live with the thought that your foolishness killed someone.
You knew this post was coming didn't you?
Take care and drive responsibly.
Cheers.
