Leatherseats.com makes really good aftermarket covers. My friend put some in his 300zx and man, they are some nice feeling leather. I was thinking of getting the red in the middle with black on the outsides. I was just wondering exactly how to put them on. I figure you just rip off the old ones and put the new ones on with hog rings and clips. Right?

Gotta love the cloth seats, cool in the heat and warm in the winter.

There are no hog rings and clips in these seats. That's the easy old school seating. These are a royal pain in the **** to do. They don't just fit when you put them on and they don't slip on at all either. The creases and folds need to be done exact or they will not fit. They also have small, wide ribs of hook & loop that have to be positioned exactly in the creases. I did the back seat and cussed the whole time. I decided that the front seats and head rests needed some professional installation techniques, so I took them to an upholstry shop.

Wow, where were your hog rings at? On the front base only? I only did the rear tops and bottom and there were none, and I was at the upholstry shop when they did the front seat backs and there were none there either.

Your interior looks sweet as hell! Nice old school look.

Thanks guys, I got them from MRTDIRECT. I opted for the like leather. $450.00 installed them myself.

They have silver stiching which you can't see in the pics.

There are 6 hog rings on the front seat backs, half way up facing forward. 3 locations doubled up. I have an 05 maybe different in other years???
