the gt500 strut mounts fit right in thats the way to go cant beat 66 bucks either. what happends to the factory ones how do they go bad. amd are they strut bearing or strut mounts

Check out this thread by Taco Bill when he did a write up on his spring install. If you scroll down he shows the strut mount open with the ball bearings inside it.

Apparently the Stock Mustang ones are really weak and go bad easily. If you took your car in for warranty work, they would replace them with the GT500 mounts.

my car is out of warranty. www.lastcallracing.com which is a local shop in my area quoted me $60 for the GT500 strut mounts.

Another word of advice....while I like 90% of Steeda products, I would not recommend their adjustable panhard. The reason I say this is because it is a PAIN to adjust and tighten properly unless you have midget hands with he-man strength. The jam-nut to lockdown the panhard is a pain to reach.
The BMR...and maybe some others are a lot easier to adjust and secure.
