Default My New Favorite Exhaust Setup

I don't know how much the cam plays in the sound, but the MAC LT's and prochamber mixed with the Bassani street mufflers sound amazing! It is very much like the sound of a complete Bassani setup (LT's, midpipe, catback) on a New Edge.

That "sounds" like it would trumpet but he didn't get into it long enough. Too loud for my tastes in a DD. I'm over the loud thing..just want quiet, deep and 500whp . I'd definitely take serious notice if he ripped past me though! I don't feel like swapping my midpipe/tune for this pos emissions county I live in anyway...

The cams make QUITE a difference in sound as well. My car was MUCH louder with the hotrod cams. Don't miss em.

I'm kinda like you, Rubbin grits ( ;-) ) I'm very frustrated with the S197 as far as sound. It seems that if a good setup is found (like the one I posted), it is extremely loud. I'm contemplating a return to my stock mufflers or my stock midpipe.

I'll settle for my nice Pypes mid-muffler and catted H burble. 3V's have a head design thats extremely efficient but exudes a higher-pitched exhaust note...or maybe it's the exhaust design, who knows. I took a ride in a 750whp turbo 3V a few weeks ago with the worst trumpet I've ever heard but the pull and sheer power made me overlook it. My car sounds better...I just need 750whp lol.

I am also in agreeance. A little to rough for my tastes, I am definitely partial to my setup and I probably won't find anyone else with it within 1000 miles... LOL!

Probably stock.

No one runs that anymore, but me.

Actually stock sounds pretty goddamn good with longtubes and catted h pipe, you just don't hear that setup often. I wish I'd kept my stock cat-back. I was about to purchase a stock takeoff cat-back prior to removing my hot rod cams. It could still be a little quieter for my tastes.
