Oh good! I'd have hated to have to beat you to death. ;-) LOL

Actually, I couldn't think of any other color to put on a Torch Red car. Black calipers would have worked BUT I want to have my wheels powder coated this winter... black. I have a 91 Mustang with black powder coated wheels and black calipers, and honestly, the calipers just...vanish... with all that black in one spot. *G*

I was looking ahead with the red.

Anyway! After careful consideration and thought, I have gone back to my original gut instinct on tack-on appearance mods. I remember a time when stick-on, non-functional stuff was laughed and pointed at... and apparently still is at my brother's body shop. He talked me out of a LOT of stuff that in retrospect would have just junked up the lines of my car. *nods*

The most I'll be doing to the exterior now is painting stripes on it, powder coating the wheels, and getting the hood pinned. With real pins. LOL I'd love to lower it, but I can't. I'd also like to get a set of Cervini quarter window scoops - but I can keep my $300.00 and get raped for free at home. ;-)

I think there is a point where a stang has too many mods and it just looks like a mess. On the other hand, there is a guy I work with who makes fun of mine just for having racing stripes and aftermarket exhaust. He thinks you shouldn't even change the mufflers.

^ Sounds like my husband. He's about to croak b/c I'm ready to toss the stock exhaust. LOL The rest of what I have planned throws him into an apoplectic fit.
