Has anyone made this swap in their auto, not that I bought my Mustang for a gas sipper but was just curious if gas Mileage does drop off with the 3:73's in an automatic!

I went from 3:31s to 3:73s and at the same time loaded the 93 Bama race tune and I lost about 3mpg on the hwy.

I run 373s, went back to 331's with different rear end, then back to 373s, and didnt notice much difference in overall fuel mileage. I hated the 331's after going back to them, really missed the extra umph from the 373's.
Under wot, the 373's are tough enough to hold on the road (excessive tire spin from a stop); the 331's had less spin.

And as recommended, get FRPP gears and have them installed properly.
