I had 20's for almost a year and about 2 months after i got them I hated them with a firey passion. They ride terrible and get terrible tracion. I have crappy roads where I live too and my 20s are so dinged up now I cant even sell them. Plus tires for 20's are ridiculously spendy. (then again so are 18's) 18's are the way to ride man.

Ive had both 20s and 18s.

Both can look great on our cars. Its all about preference. I switched out the 20s because i got tired of the flashy chrome and my car didnt scream "muscle" to me everytime i saw it. Also, when i had 20s, i had a set of my stock 17s for the track and every time id ride out to the track with the 17s, i could feel the difference on highway pulls for sure. 20s do hurt performance. Caution rented out a dyno and did tests all day, 20s vs 18s and 20s lost around 8-10rwhp compared to the 18s.

I had 20s with FRPP springs, now 18s with sportlines. The ride feels the same with both. I am still on stock shocks/struts. (ive had dspecs for months, but havent installed em!)

I've got an 18x10 bullitt in back with a 28.5" tire (295/45/R18). I've heard that it could be killing up to 20whp worth of power by having the bigger wheel and tire on there.

I want to get to the dyno and test to see how much the 18s and the big tire are hurting me. I know my final drive ratio went from a 4.10 to a 3.90.

Oddysey: very nice wheel/tire combo. what are the tire sizes?

mine are 255/35 20 all around, the back is too skinny. i want to put some Nitto 275/40 DR's in the back.

I have 18x9 up front and 18x10.5 in the rear. I really wanted 20's, but I got such an outrageously incredible unbelieveable holy **** WTF DEAL on these, I had to take it. I still plan on getting 20's once I get the car lowered and keep the 18's for racing. 20's look a ton better IMO, but it has to be lowered when running 20's or it looks like a donk.
