FYI on the Amsoil; It's pricey. But if you join as a preferred customer, it's not much more than M1. For example, a gallon of their 0W20 ASM is $35.85 to the non-member but it's $27.60 for preferred customers. Go to their site and read-up. I also use their oils for my pre-mix for the yard equipment and for my boats.

Mobil one works for me on a DD.
In racing environment with hi-temps etc... It'd be a different story.

I've used alot of different oils over the years. Castrol was my choice for along time. I tried Mobil 1 in my pickup (GMC with an LS motor) and swear it runs smoother. I also tried an extended drain interval and have to say I won't do that again. Nothing bad happened but I just can't go that long and feel good about it. The oil change message comes on every 6200 or so miles and I'm going to stick with it. I get my Mobile 1 when Costco has it on sale which is every October. A six quart box costs $22 on sale, normal price there is $32. The Mustang started on Mobil 1 last oil change a few months ago. It gets a change every 5,000 miles.
