Default Question before selling my CAI/Tuner

I am going to go the turbo route this winter and want to put up my tuner and intake for sale. All I have to do is load the car back to stock correct and I can then sell it. Its a SCT X3 if that makes a difference. I just wanna make sure before I run down to storage and do some work for nothing.

Dont even start your car with the new turbo unless it is tuned correctly

If I get a custom tune though won't that take care of that? Or do dyno shops charge you so much since you have to buy a tuner?

you buy the tune which is loaded onto your tuner

when you plug your tuner into your car it gives you the optional tune like the 91 race or 91 torque

when you buy a tune for your turbo it will be just a program and you upload it onto the tuner and plug it intoyour car

Some times, not always.

I'm not that familiar with the particular tuner the OP is selling. However, when getting dyno tuned it is very common to have several tunes over the course of a year that work in the vehicle. Especially being a turbo. Some for higher PSI, some for higher octane (race fuel), some for both, or maybe you change something that makes you need a new tune.

Having a tuner that you can add or subtract fuel or spark, change gear ratios, idle rpms etc., will give the best advantages. There are some tuners that only let you put in a program or take out a program.
