Default 05 Exterior door handles fixed, not replaced

So I fixed my door handles so they know longer stick out and retract like they are supposed to. I have detail instructions and pics if there is an interest.

I am confused what you did.. I think you fixed your door handles, but you say they:

"know longer stick out and retract like they are supposed to"..

I assume you mean NO longer stick out, and they retract like the are supposed to.

(Don't mean to come off sounding pretentious, but spelling and punctuation makes a big difference here)

If you fixed your door handles so they work after they were broken, then by all means post a writeup of it! My buddys stang has that problem on his passenger side and I'm sure he'd appreciate if he could read the HOW TO. DIY is always more fun than bringin it somewhere.

Thanks!

He could mean he has fixed the handles so they no longer move at all. Thus they are fixed in the retracted position.

Assuming the goal was to electric handles only.

Just a guess.

So my passenger side door handle will not retract all the way. So that is an easy fix? I never thought to ask the question about it. I never use the passenger side door so i never noticed it till the last few weeks. The door handle still springs back in, but it only goes back in 2/3 of the way.

thanks

I will write up what I did along with pics. I just did not want to write something up if it was already done.

My passenger door does the same thing, so yes, I would definitely like to know how to fix it without paying out the a$$ for it.
