if you are having any doubts at this point, you should probably sit down and really think about what's bothering you. if you move forward and pull the trigger, you will never be happy and have many regrets....
the new motors in the 2011's are going to be very awesome...especially to 5.0 GT and 6.2L S/C GT500

You and anyone one else who bought/buys a 2010 will regret it. History will remember the new mustang starting in 2011 with a all new motor lineup. 2010 was just warmed up leftovers from the 2005-2009 years, same car, with a better interior, but uglier rear end. Just like a girl with a good heart and a flat butt, you will love her, but always be looking at other women... jmo..

as a 2010 owner I say wait. They will be announcing the 2011 soon and this may change your decision. Although... If all the rumors are true, expect to pay MSRP or more. And probably will have to wait. If the rumors are true, this will be sorta like getting a 2005 when they came out. LOTS of people are waiting to hear the 5.0L return, along with other goodies that are rumored.
I bought my 2010 at the end of August. I love it. When its paid off, Ford will still be making bad *** Mustangs, probably one better/faster than the 2011.

I thought the rumor was the GT500 will still be 5.4 but aluminum?
What I'm hoping for is 1) a fastback option like the iacocca and 2) a boss w/ the 6.2L N/A.
I'd love to take that 6.2, bore/stroke it to 429ci b/c that's the only way I see me getting a boss 429 since the old ones are many times out of my price range.
I wish FRPP would just start producing the boss 429 motor again as a crate motor. It would be cool to put one in a somewhat more modern mustang like Jack Roush did with his saved boss 429 motor he put in an SN95. That car is SICK!

The vents in the 2010 look like the vents in the 67/68 model. At first I liked my round center vents better, but I've changed my mind and like the new vents better since they look more retro than I originally thought.

Finally, with this piece of information I can now safely purchase the last Mustang.
This thread has been really helpful. If the 5.0 does come out will the Ford dealers do what the Chevy dealers are doing right now with the Camaro and jack the price sky high? My guess is yes.
Thanks again for all the help!
