Getting Cold Feet on my 2010 GT Convertible Order
Hey there! Very new the group and I figured I would share my current experience for those that haven't pulled the trigger yet.
Placed my order for a 2010 GT Convertible two weeks ago.
I love the car and all of the options are just what I want.
The 2010 Interior simply can not be beat and is the major reason why I am not getting an low mileage 07-09.
I am getting the GT largely due to the irreplaceable sound from that V8 engine and of course the power that the sound represents.
That being said:
The thoughts that the 2011 V6 will be faster than my 2010 GT just makes me feel as if I am paying too much for the GT.
Anyways, these are the ramblings by a man trying to deal with the unknown period of time between today and whenever my ride arrives.
Thanks for your comments!

Thats exactly it. The rumors are just that: Rumors.

If these play out to be real this where I feel where I might get more than my fair share of immediate depreciation.

Your car should be arriving AFTER the 2011 information is released. That is perfect timing for you to decide if you want to keep the car. You wont lose any money obviously because they return your deposit even if you decide not to buy it. If the 2011 GT does have the 5.0 engine, why not just wait a few more months for that? Not only will it spank the new muscle cars out there stock, youll have the newest engine for the next several years to come! I say wait!

if we're talkin a matter of months of finding out what the new cars will have VS the matter of years your going to be spending paying off the 20 10 then i would say wait!!...even if you do wait and you doo end up with the 20 10 then atleast you'll KNOW you made the right choice...couldnt imagine many more things being more gut wrenching then buyin that car and a few weeks or even DAYS!! later find out the 20 11 is twice the car for just as much

I just bought a 2010 GT, I kinda wish I would of waited for the 2011 with the 5.0 Man that motor is going to be awesome. Whatever you do don't go with a V6 even if it has 315hp. Torque makes a car fun to drive. Can't bolt on the sound of V8 onto a V6.
