Default Do you want to run a vehicle health report?

I signed on for that sync my ride stuff, now while I'm driving my car unexpectedly occasionally interupts my media listening pleasures to ask me if I want to run a vehicle healthreport. Is this normal? I made a 2 1/2 hour trip each way today and it must have asked my 4 or 5 times.

Did you deny it each time?

Or did it keep nagging you even after the first report?

Hmm I've never heard that before. I only ran a vehicle health check once - when I first signed onto the SyncMyRide site.

I hit the ok button on the wheel, mabee I was supposed to hit the ok on the radio. It only asked me once each time, not right after each other. I logged on to sync my ride and the site has no reports listed as having been run on my car.

I figured it out, I just crossed over 5k miles on the car, and the system defaults to run one evey 5k miles. I'm on my fourth Blackberry since buying this car, and I did not bother to pair this one yet because I was not sure how long this one would last. When it prompts you to run a report, it looks for the phone first, because it sends the reports via your phone to an 800 number. So since it could not find my phone, it kept asking me every once in a while. I paired my phone, ran a report, came inside, looked it up and it told me I was low on fuel! I've already changed the oil and reset the oil life counter, wonder if it will text me when I hit 7500 miles to change the oil?

It did not prompt me when I went over the 7500 mile mark

Now that's strange, Willkinda respoded to my post, but it came up as an edit?

I just updated my Sync from the web and there is a new feature turned on that sets Automatic Health reports, mine comes up while driving and asks, you can turn that off though.
