Damn, that sucks, I'd start sleeping in my car with a Smith & Wesson model 629 in the passenger seat!

Perhaps something jumped the curb and hit the fender? Motorcycle?

I completely agree. My comment was more that I don't think the particular damage shown in that picture was caused by a bike. Honestly I think that if that damage picture was caused by a bike, there'd be more scratches, gouges and the such. The OP pictures look more like a yellow pole at a gas station caused the damage, or a bumper/fender smacking it.

Doubt they will be able to fix that for a reasonable price. It will still need to be repainted, so it will probably be cheaper and faster to just replace the fender. They may be able to fix that bumper, but it will need repainted also.

It's a $600 job by the time you add paint and labor for the fender alone, then you have to fix the bumper and blend.
BTW, said fender retails now for $289 from $160 a few months back...

A repair would be cheaper and wouldn't affect blending because there isn't any match to worry about where the damage is... away from the door and the hood.

If that job comes to my shop, it's an easy repair for sure for about $850.
If I'd have to blend on the door and hood because of a new fender, it becomes a $2000 job.

Looks like it's from one of those yellow Camaros

Sorry to see that - same thing happened to me on my 11 year old DD, no note either.

It hit a big block of wood yesterday in my GT500 going about 50 - sounded like it hit metal - had one of those sinking feelings in my stomach. I was expecting the worst, but did not see any exterior damage. Don't know about the undercarriage though - didn't see any obvious damage while peeking underneath.
