Sorry for being the noob here.

+1 yep.
Other than longing for a bit more torque, it suits me OK.
65mph, eh?
Haven't seen a 60mph limit in CA for quite some time now.
Ditto.
Inexperience (and realizing it, more importantly) and because it's my D.D. limit me from this venture, for now.

On the mileage thing - I wonder if at 60 MPH the engine is lugging in 5th. This might explain the mileage being better in 4th at that speed. Perhaps 5th is not really very good until you are up around 80 MPH or so?
Interesting observation. Will have to play around with it when I get her. Supposed to have it next week.

I can't wait to get a SC. But it does feel great the way it is now. I ran the stock intake and tune the other day just for the hell of it and I didn't like it at all.
I noticed that with the mileage too and I'm leaning toward 5th gear is lugging if your not over 60.

That's very interesting if true about the "lugging." My previous car, a 2007 Mustang V6, would get 30+ mpg in 5th gear at 60 MPH. There was a real savings in fuel when combining low speed with 5th gear. I had my tires inflated near 40PSI for the freeway driving.
Do you guys recommend inflating the tires on the 2010 a little higher for better freeway MPG or does it not make an appreciable difference?

Try this, if you are ever on a grade long enough and you have your foot deep in the throttle in 5th. Do not change speed but shift to 4th. Depending upon your speed, you will notice that you have to lift the throttle to maintain the same speed. So even though the engine is spinning higher RPM, your fuel efficiency is improved.
But you probably already knew all of that
