Anyone with the Cervini Side exhaust .. Need help!
I have the Cervini side exhaust and after having the car up in the air, I noticed that there is barley any room for my hand to get between the Driveshaft and the Cervini/Pipes exhaust.
My question is if I upgrade to a bigger driveshaft will it rub my exhaust???
Thank you for your time.

I have the same problem with mine barely a cm between the two and dont how much bigger the new driveshaft is but i bet it will rub if it is bigger but maybe your exhaust kit is different then mine. FYI you put this in the 2010-2011 thread.

Pascal, would you happen to have anymore pictures?
I have a club member that has an 08 Convertible GT500 that's similar to mine, except it's not lowered, and he's thinking about doing a Cervini's side exhaust on his car and it would be awesome to see all different angles....underneath, around the side skirts, in the door jambs, distance from the exhuast pipe to the bottom of the floor (he's thinking about sub-frame connectors), etc..
Thanks in advance!

The car came to me with a p#ss poor job on the exhaust alignment and it gets worse when you have junk like Pypes.
On those two pictures, you can see that the driver side was way off and the pipe wasn't even pushed in all the way in the muffler, with a clamp put backwards as well (second picture)...

Here's an overview from underneath on how this system is routed, with a little correction I made...
Also, you can see that the reason why those pipes hit the driveshaft, is because there are not shapped properly.
The bend is wrong.
There is plenty of room towards the gas tank and if the bend was right instead of straight, the pipes would be tucked in a lot better and give a lot more clearance in the process.
The tips are low as well but they have to match the opening of the skirts so you can't really move them.
I'll try to bend the pipes tomorrow without messing up the tips alignment with the skirts.
If not, the owner will have to go to an exhaust shop and have some pipes made correctly from scratch if he wants proper clearance.

Here's how them tips and skirts are supposed to mate...
For those of you that want to do this set up, beware that it's a PITA to put on a 4 post lift...
I'm using wooden blocks for extensions but I don't like this one bit
