Yeah exactly, I have had so many people yell at me because my car is so loud they think i'm going fast. I don't get it.

No wonder !

I have a volt meter and it rarely reads 14.0 +Volts

I always chalked it up to heat soak leading to lower voltage but now i know

so i guess a simple restart will have the alternator back up to 14+ volts?

As I mentioned at post #7, my first post wasn't good. Something can happen with the alternator voltage at WOT, but I don't know if it only occurs when there is a problem.

I'll take some readings tomorrow and post the results.

Can't really duplicate a 'problem' scenario, but will post baseline & WOT results, FWIW.
