haven't heard anything about the ford manifold and the only thing i have heard about the c&l is that it is a complete waste of money. most say at best they are getting 10hp from the manifold, not really worth that $800 price tag

I think you'd need head work done to really see anything. The frpp one says its built to allow the engine to rev to 7500 rpm. Or something like that. With springs of course. I wanna know what each runner can flow on the frpp one. What I read in a magazine was that it's about half the price of the C&L one.

The 3V can rev to 7500 anyway. It's not limited by the intake manifold...well..maybe so at that rpm...but the stock drivetrain limits that.

The valves float at 6500 with stock valvesprings. Swap out your heads, valvetrain and cams then start worrying about this 7500rpm intake . Until then its a waste of money.

+1 above said. With that if your only NA there really is no point unless you have some serious cams and heads to match ! Other than that like said above your wasting about 750 bucks !

the stock intake manifold limits airflow is what i get out of that.. if you max out at 250cfm at 6500rpm for instance, then going to 7500 rpm is pointless. this is what i think they meant by that artical i read on the frpp intake manifold allowing it to rev beyond 6500 rpm.

i'm just really trying to find out what the positives and negitives are of each manifold. not if its worth it or not. thanks for the replies though.

Haven't seen any reviews on the FRPP or for the C&L besides the preliminary reviews when it was first released.
