to be honest I really haven't even checked. The next time I rip on it I will check that out. It doesn't feel like I lost anything that's for sure.

i didn't realize that you had already got rid
of the cats, so there may not be that
noticeable a difference now. i'm glad the
beast is running well. it sure was an interesting
road getting our whipples and hot rods to
play nice, but it sounds like we are there.

i took my car in for DEQ (emissions) this
morning and passed easily. i had been a
little worried, but apparently for nothing.

it seems they'll pass just about anything,
as long as it has cats.

sweet glad to hear it passed. I don't have to worry about emissions here.

Soooo... you have no fitment issues?

Or you did, but the mounts fixed the issue?

And if that is the case, what mounts did you use?

i'd probably have a setup just like yours,
if i could get away with it.

I don't seem to have any as of now. The Prothane mounts pretty much fixed the steering shaft rub issue. The cheaper way to the fix would have been a dent in the header tube but I didn't feel like taking the header back off. Im getting use to the new solid mounts though. They give the car a more solid feel but you do get alittle bit of a vibration down the driveline in idle. Driving down the road she feels awesome.

Where did you get the motor mounts. Some drop the motor a little... i'd imagine this would make the issues with the steering shaft worse. So I'd like to know which ones you got so I can get the same lol

I got them off ebay. Just get the regular prothane mounts. They come in red or black.

Thread Revival!! Just wanted to say that I just purchased a set of the boost brothers LT rev. 2's. I wonder if they have gotten any better? Either way after seeing this thread I will be doing the MM at the same time. Any tips or hints for installation? I will be doing it myself.
