Default Changing oil on Saturday, What filter do you recommend?

Hey, I'm going to change my oil on saturday and was just wondering what filter you'd recommend. I used napa gold the last time I did it. Is that good enough or should I get something a little higher quality?
Thanks!
Eric

Motorcraft - Ford Racing - Amsoil

The Ford Racing or Amsoil are a step above the motorcraft.

I use K&N filters for everything, oil, air, breathers. I like the 1" hex on the oil filter to tighten or loosen the filter with.

heres another link to filter comparison.
http://www.knizefamily.net/minimopar...reference.html

the napa filters are very good, they get them from WIX which is very good, high rated filter. motorcraft are good, mobil 1, NAPA. i use WIX or NAPA myself, whatever is cheaper or convenient.

stay away from FRAM.

thanks for the feedback! I'll probably stick with the Napa seeing as its relatively cheap and easy to get.

The Ford FL-820S is as good as it gets as far as price and quality go and is a fine choice if you do your oil changes at 7500 miles or less. If you go beyond 7500 miles, I'd go with the M1 or the Amsoil Ea filter. If you go beyond 10,000 miles than the Ea for sure.

Whatever they've got at Walmart (Fram, Penzoil, Valvoline) & Mobil 1 full synthetic.

Just as a heads up, the Advance Auto in my area had a deal of 5 qts mobile 1 and a mobile 1 filter for $29.99 -- So not a bad deal.
