Its like 25 for a synthetic blend change and 35 for a full synthetic change. Not much of a diff. Do it yourself and know it was done right and save some money in the process.

How do you guys do it? I've never kept a car that has even gotten close to 100k. I would actually like to one day. My Towncar I have for the office has 53k and every time I get in and look at the clock, I say"DAMN".

I've worked at performance shops and have found that there is no comparison between regular and synthetic oils. I used to run very high boost applications and regular oil would coke so bad the turbo would need builds every 10k. With Mobil1 there would be no coking and there are a couple extra ponies to be found vs regular oil on the dyno. Nothing noticable, but its there. Now, that being said, I used Kendall 50w for the 8 second car and drained it after every run. Rarely had catastrophic failures on that motor at 50psi and 1400hp.

More than it costs to jack up the car in my driveway.
