Default New Member, New Mustang!

So I got word today that my New 2010 Mustang GT is on a rail car on its way to the west coast to be loaded on a ship and sent to me (in Guam). This will be my first car I purchased myself and I figured I'd do it right. I ordered a GT 5spd in black. I can't wait to get my car and go for some nice drives along the coast here on the island.

Well Welcome aboard mate, when I was there in 70's with SeaBees wasn't much there, wow I did not realize so many people that are stationed overseas in like phillipines, japan, Guam bought these muscle cars, is that it is a heck of a better deal, or you just can't wait to come back stateside, cuz think ain't much room to run up the RPM over there?

Ive not been here long but from what Ive heard this island was "forgotten" until recently. They've realized the strategic importance of the bases here and now alot more money has been sent here. The Base Exchange now sells vehicles from Ford and Chrysler and can get us military pepople some decent discounts. As far as room to drive on public roads it is pretty limited, the speed limit most everywhere is 35. However a 1/4 mile drag strip has been built recently and its a short 10 min drive from my base. Im sure ill make my way there quite a bit.

Congrats on the new wheels!! The 2010's are an awesome car. This is a great place to come for advice or support once you start modding.
