E-brake problem

I got a PM from a new member that isn't able to post yet for some reason. They need some help with their e-brake on their 05 mustang and I know nothing about them. Here is the PM that was sent.

I have an awesome mustang, I take perfect care of it myself, I am a gear-head and also a girl but my dad restored cars professionally and I am an only child so I know what I'm doing. However, this morning, after driving to the gas station my e-brake stuck...and I've already removed the center console to see if it was something in the top linkage...but it looks ok, they can't be frozen because I drove about 8 miles before I stopped for gas down a mountain so the brakes were definitely warmed up which I would think would warm up anything attached to the calipers (e-brake line)...long story short: don't have money to tow it, gas station mgr won't let me leave it overnight. BUT, I do have a floor jack that I'm going to take down there...is there any way to disengage the e-brake so that I can drive it home and work on it in the garage? I appreciate any help!! Thanks, Sunne
Hopefully you guys can help.

I am going to move this under the 2005 to 2011 section as this thread states it's an issue with a 2005...
