ha hahaha.

I think it sucks.

1. cant adjust to shortest throw setting with a BMR d/s loop and a one piece d/s

2. my shifter boot (the nice finished one, not the rubber one insdie the console) is scratched and ripped from shifting from 1st to 2nd.

3. shifter is not as smooth as everyone states, or as smooth as MGW's install video

4. install was a complete pain in the ***, comparing to B&M's shifter install.

Shifter was installed correctly using MGW's video step by step.

huh ? If you adjust the bracket that attaches to the shaft properly you will not have the problem of your leather/vinyl shift boot ripping. Have had my shifter for almost 2 years now and no issues what so ever.

Can't comment on the one piece drive shaft. Don't have one yet, though my shifter is set at 50 % shorter than stock. being max, I'll be able to cocmment on that soon enough as the DS is on my shopping list.

Install took me and a friend right around 40 minutes. and I'm not really mechanically inclined. lol and the hardest part was reading the instructions, and my friend did most of the stuff cuz he has small hands heh

As far as the smoothness, again, something had to go wrong in your install or it was just oyur bad luck to get a faulty piece somewhere. .. no issues here at all. it's smooth and stiff like it should be.

Either way I need to suck a toe or two because apparently there's someone who has something bad to say about the shifter.

Good to hear your solving your Hurst issues with the MGW. I know how bad that missed 2nd shift can kill an 11 sec pass lol

I can't imagine why somebody would say the install was hard. I got one of the first "Beta" units. Install couldn't have been more straight forward. Once installed and adjusted, the thing shifts like a dream.

No, do not get the stop kit - neither needed or even recommended.
