I do have one on my 24 foot truck. It's great when I have to back up to docks and come with in 1 inch. The guys on the dock don't know I have a back up camera, they just think I know how to drive.

CAN Solder but CANNOT diagnose a simple burned out brake bulb filiment.
Blames the poor soldered in sequential (sequintial, cant spell either) kit.
We get em all here and they all get treated the same, as idiots until
they prove themselves otherwise.
Need a tutorial on S197 brake light replacement?
Read the Owners Manual...
Its all fun round here parts today.
Back-up cameras are for people who cant drive in reverse as well as forward.
Some have the keen ability to drive well in both directions and dont need
the gadgets no one had years ago. Its called depth perception and spacial
recognition. Its the hairs in your ears that does the equalibrium.
Use the 2 cameras god gave you.

Sounds a lot like the brake/turn filament is broken. Like I said earlier, change that bulb. Do it now! The suspense of knowing whether I'm right is killing me!

Yes, in the past truckers had to do it without the use of a camera, BUT they had mirrors installed on the back or had someone to guide them AND if you ever noticed some of the platforms on those trucks were trashed.
157db sometimes you do come across very harsh on this forum, especially to new comers. It's Christmas, quit being a Grinch. (BTW, you spelled equilibrium wrong).

I have to disagree with you on the backup cameras. Sure, I could wing it and probably do a darn good job of it, but when you have a 24 foot truck with a platform sticking out, there is always the possibility of damaging that or the loading dock that you are backing into.

Now back on topic...

Cameras on trucks are OK in my book but on a 73.9" wide and 186.6" long vehicle?
