Default 01 GT rims on 2010 w/ Pics

I put my winter set on today. I actually like the 01 rims better than my stock ones.

I put my stock wheels/tires on for the winter today as well. I can't wait until winter is over to put my 18's back on.

Glad to hear they will fit and work well for your winter driving duty. However, I highly disagree with your opinion on the looks ;-)

To each his own. Sorry to hear you will have to drive the stang through the winter.

Are they 17"?

yes they are 17" rims. I put 215 60 r17 snow tires on them.

I think they look good to me because they are something new. plus the tread looks more aggressive that the stock bfg. I would like a wider tire with a more aggressive stance for the summer set.

I thought you had to use spacers to run the 96-04 rims

or are the spacers required only if you run wider rubber?

not quite a fan of those rims. had them on my 03 GT and couldn't stand them then

you need spacers to run 05-2010 on a 99-04.

the offset on 99-04 is +25 the offset on 05-2010 is +45
so the 01 rims on my 2010 stick out about .75 in farther than the stock rims.

God, I WISH I had some wheels to put on during the winter ... but it's the CS's all year long.

Good thing is, there's not a lot of snow here in West Texas ... well, except the small snow storm we had on Friday. (maybe 2 inches)
