Default ingredients to a good dyno tune??

we have a local shop that offers dyno tuning. I am just wondering if the dyno operator needs to be very knowledgeable to do a decent job, what I am getting at is there basic numbers that most anyone should get right, like AF ratio and timing, that shouldn't be that hard to get right. I just don't wanna do something that makes my car worse.

First, find a local tuner that has tuned your year of Mustang. Then ask around and see how his tunes have worked. A tuner that is not knowledgeable of these Mustangs can jack up your car good if the settings are not right.
