So having spent the better part of a week looking for a shop (or more than one even) that would paint my tails and remove the horrible decklid emblem, I've about given up hope on finding anybody around town.

For those of you with painted tails, did you have to call a ton of places, or were you able to find somebody relatively quickly that did it for you?

I'm assuming by tails you mean the decklid between the taillights?

I took mine to a shop near where I work. Dropped it off at noon, walked back to work and it was ready at 4:00.

I meant paint the tail lights and also remove the decklid emblem, which might take two stops, but that's not so bad. Can't find somebody to do either one though.
