Top coming loose from rear window
 

Any of you vert owners had this problem? My sis is freaking out, the top on her 07 GT is separating from the rear window. Dealer here couldn't find the problem. We found it after about an hour. Still can't get an answer from Ford if they are going to cover an obvious defect under warranty. It's still under warranty plus she's got the extended warranty. Car has 25k miles and has spent most of its life in a garage, yet they are trying to tell us its normal wear and tear and not covered. The only upholstery shop in this area that does tops has done several for the local Ford dealer as it apparently is a common issue. Quoted us a price of $1632.00. He also told me there is no way to re-glue it and that the top would need to be replaced. We are taking the car to the dealer she bought it from next wednesday to see what they have to say. Any help would be appreciated.

No issues with mine, but I also have very low miles (5.5K).

Is this a vinyl or cloth top?
