Default Hood lifting at high speeds.....

At about 120+mph, the hood on my 2008 Stang lifts about 1inch higher than the front fenders....any of you guys seen this, looks like that hood may snap off at any minute???

mine tends to shake a little at higher speeds but not lift like that, if its shaking tighten the rubber stoppers on the front where the hood rests

Mine shakes but I don't think it lifts a whole inch? How can you tell it's a whole inch when you're traveling 120+?

The shaking is common but to lift 1 inch is rather severe.
Check your latch mechanism, some ain't right...

Hood is latched down properly....it's the side edges of the hood that lifts above the fenders. Doesn't look very safe at all. Will try to lift it manually tonight to see how much flex there is....

My stock hood and my Trufiber GTS-III hood both shook like crazy at high speeds. Hood pins fixed both.

Hood lift is a problem with 05-09 S197. I believe the different design on the 2010 fixed the issue.

Anyways, Adjust the hood stops on the corners. You can also get hood pins if you're that worried about it. I have yet to hear of someones hood flying off. Shaking yes.
