Default Looking for Widest Tires Possible for 2010

I am looking for the widest tires possible that will fit and be safe on my stock wheels. I have the 18inch wheels. My stock tires are 235/50/18.

I'd rather not go with different sizes front and back.

Any ideas?

Not sure, check out discounttire.com and they can tell you the widest you can go. Its probably 255 like mine. You should definitely do it though, one of the best things I did was my tires.

you can do 280 35 18's on the back ,and 245 40 18's on the front, they stick out a little but man the grip is much better then stock...i just installed 275 40 18 on my rear and 245 45 18 on the front perfect fit...only reason why i didnt go bigger is because the tire size where not locally available...

You installed 275/40/18 tires on the STOCK wheels? I have a hard time believing this. The tires already bulge out on the Track Pack vehicles and I believe they're using 255 tires. Your tire has to mate well with the wheel otherwise your tire will not wear correctly at all, and traction will be negatively impacted. I wouldn't go wider than 245 or 255 (max) on stock wheels.

Note: if you look up tires on tirerack.com it will tell you what width wheel you should have.

I'm going with same size all way around, going from 19's to 18's and tire rack recommends 255/45/18, gives some width and little more side wall.

Alright, got 'em on today. I went with a 255/45/18 all the way around. They look way better than stock. I also went with 1/4 inch wheels spacers on the back. There was plenty of lug nut left after putting the spacers on, so I don't foresee any issues. Definitely looks way better now.
