Smell coming from vents

Well I forgot all about this thread but I figured I'd post my findings anyway. I lifted the car up and there was the obvious answer......exhaust leak. The most obvious reasoning for the smell, I was missing a bolt so I replaced it and all is now good

I don't use A/C often, but when I have recently -- I've noticed an odd smell after turning off A/C and switching to just plain vented air. It's not very nasty, but it is quite an unusual smell. Goes away after a few minutes.
157dB seems to hint in this post that the culprit may be evaporator mold -- but I'm not entirely sure.
Anyone with a definitive answer or experience similar symptoms?
