thanks, I'll have to see if she has the owners manual in her car and pull that out and show it to her because she keeps telling me that she thinks there is more to it then that. I was try to tell her that I'm getting this advice from actual owners of mustangs and not shop techs just guessing on what it is!

These are a couple of check procedures.
Air filter clogged

Vacuum leaks
Inoperative or damaged EGR system

Inoperative or damaged fuel system

Damaged head gasket

Low oil pressure

Damaged hydraulic lash adjuster

Incorrect valve-to-seat contact

How many miles on the car?
