I thought that the oil life monitor went by miles driven, strictly a miles to percentage ratio, that you could program it for less miles if you wanted.
From pg.23 of my manual:
"3. While "OIL LIFE SET TO 100%" is displayed , if a lower oil life start value is desired, press and release the RESET control to reduce the start value. Each press of the RESET control reduces the value by 10 percent.

Note. Oil life start value of 100% equals 7,500 miles....

I'm fairly **** with car detailing. Here are the products I use:

Wash: Optimum No Rinse Wash & Shine

Quick Detailer: Wolfgang Quick Detailing Sprintz
Vinyl / Rubber / Cladding: 303 Aerospace Protectant (Interior, Exterior, and Engine Compartment)
Leather Cleaning: A damp (water) microfiber towel. You can use a 16:1 Woolite solution for more aggressive cleaning
Leather Conditioning: Pinnacle Leather Conditioner
Leather Protection: 303 Aerospace Protectant
Tires: Optimum Opti-Bond Tire Gel (dilute 2:1 with water - lasts forever!)
Windows: Zep Glass/Tinted Window Cleaner (has no ammonia, safe on tint)
Towels (Washing / Quick Detailing): Cobra Super Plush Deluxe Microfiber
Towels (Drying): Cobra Guzzler HD Gold Waffle Weave
Towels (Buffing): Cobra Indigo Microfiber Polishing Cloth

It has everything to do with that.

I'm one of those that don't like that rear end still, but I ain't stupid enough to bash anyone that buys a 2010.
It can be modified to your liking and if I ever decided to get the new Stang, that rear would be the best looking one of the post 69 Mustangs out there.
Besides, I'm an *** man...
