Cheapest Price for CS Bumper
Hey all,
As some of you know, I got in an accident last week, so I'm upgrading to the California Special rear bumper. My local dealership wants retail for it at $466.43. Is there any place where I could get it cheaper than this?
Thanks.

That seems to be the going rate for these. I'm looking into doing the rear since I'm gonna fix/upgrade my front to the gt cs. Late model restoration has them for cheaper (380 something) but shipping is 135 so its more expensive. However it comes in a kit that claims its all you need for the swap minus paint. Let me know if you end up finding it for cheaper somewhere.

cheapest place is from ford but you need the correct part number
ford has two versions, the replacement and the upgrade package.
the replacement if around 500 but the upgrade is closer to 300 and includes more hardware. Trust me, find the correct part number and you will save a good bit of money, i did the same when i got rear ended. The number should be in the thread linked a couple posts ago

The p/n from my last post is the accessory kit. Here's a good post from KC on TMS that explains the different p/n's http://forums.themustangsource.com/s...40&postcount=1

The only one you need to know, so make note of it people.
Maybe we should make a sticky about this rear CS bumper...
Oh, while I'm at it... I suggest you guys get this bumper now.
Prices are going up in January.
