Ladies vs. Gents - 2005 Owners

RE: Ladies vs. Gents - 2005 Owners
It was hard to let my boyfriend drive my car for the first time, but he is a good driver, so I let him drive it often. Only once have I let him take it to the store without me and I was so nervous until he got back.

I can't believe how one sided this is for gender! I totally thought it would be a heck of a lot closer!
As for letting your other half drive, I am fairly impressed about how sharing most everyone appears to be. I have to be honest, I have let my husband drive mine, exactly 3 times, once for every month I owned her, but I would rather not, each time it was only because I had been drinking [sm=icon_guiness.gif], otherwise I don't!
LOL.

well I can't vote because its OUR car. He made sure it had an automatic and in the blue color just for me! I helped him decide on which sporty convertible to buy. We share the car because he rides the motorcycle to work on good weather days and uses the Mustang on bad weather days and I have a truck I can use too here at home. I use the Mustang mostly when I have to make a trip over 20 miles. Or the truck if he has the Mustang that day. I guess we are the only ones that know how to share???

It's not like I want to let her drive it ........ I just don't have much of a choice, LOL. She tells me if I don't let her, I'll be surf the net for **** at night instead of well ... you know.

I am the woman, and the Mustang fan in my house. I actually had to talk my husband into buying one! Of Course now he loves it and wants to drive it whenever I don't need it. He even wants a supercharger now. I don't mind him driving it. He looks sexy in the driver's seat !! I kind of feel like a high school girl riding with the coolest guy in school. (BTW - High school was a looonnng time ago)

Both myself and my husband love the Stang. I have had several year models, but love the 2005. My husband found
this one for me. He said I could have a 2005 only if we got a GT and it was a manual trans.

As a rule, my husband does not drive my car, by his choice. He has driven it exactly twice... the day before we paid for it and one other time when I was running behind and had to finish getting ready going somewhere. If he were to drive it regularly, we would not be able to afford the insurance because of his speeding tickets! And he knows it.
