Winter beater / DD got totaled....new dilema
My prized 2001 Focus (White Devil) got taken away from me far too early by some inattentive woman in a suburban earlier this week. So now I find myself with some spare cash burning a whole in my wallet and several paths to go down. All seem to be viable options depending on your point of view.
Option A.) Buy a new/used car to replace the poor little Focus. I have THIS guy here in mind. Pretty damn similar to the Focus I had, except its got the DOHC motor versus the SOHC motor, power windows, power locks, alloy wheels, and is a stick versus an autotragic. Basically, it's the car I wish my focus was. Also already has a K&N intake on it. Year older with less miles. Doesn't look to be a bad car at all, carfax comes back super clean.
Option B.) Buy a set of winter tires and wheels and tough the snowy season out until next spring when the new Fiesta's become available, and buy a brand new car (while picking up a very small car payment). Yes, I'm very seriously considering a Fiesta. It's practical as hell and doesn't look half bad either. Plus, insanely good gas mileage.
Option C.) Buy some cheap POS for around $1000 and put the rest into the wait till spring and supercharge it fund.
Option D.) Screw it. Get a whipple on that thing now. Get a bus pass for when its snowing / steal the womans car and make her car pool to work. Not sure how she'd like that idea, but hey, it is a viable option.
Option E.) Be mature, and put the money away in savings in case a major repair bill comes up on the house such as needing a new roof, or furnace or something that makes the wallet cringe. Or, the back surgery I'll need in 10 years from the stupid accident.
*Sighs* Sometimes I just wish I was rich so I wouldn't have to stress myself out over crap like this.
RIP poor little Focus, you shall be missed.

As much as I hate to say it..this does not really belong in this section..... I'm gonna have to move it as soon as I figure out where it actually does belong.....
But my $0.02 would be to buy the Focus..

Sorry, I wasn't sure where to place it either. I mean its kind of related to the 2010 Mustang, as that's what I have and I'm considering boosting it. I knew OT would probably be the best place for this, however, I couldn't post it there as of I don't meet the requirements as of yet.
