You guys should just get the spreadsheet that's floating around somewhere. It lets you plug in values for your tires as well as the gear ratio.

If the race isn't determined by 120, I think I'll just call it a tie and tap my brakes.

With 4.10's what RPM will I be at around 65 MPH in 5th?

PM me with your email and I'll forward the spreadsheet. Even with various gears and all the bolt-ons and NO FI, all of us GT's should top out between or around 140 to 150. Even 4.10's won't peter out before aero kicks our butts.

4.10s are a quarter mile gear, so this dude is probably racing a mile or 10 miles, dont fear the gear and get 4.10s

Love my 4.10's. Can't see any point in racing at or above 120mph, unless I'm racing to see who goes to jail first.

i got 4.10s in my vortech gt and after a few highway runs with another member here its rediculous how fast you lose:

you both start in 3rd, go for it then you have to shift sooner than a car with stock gears, your in 4th hes still in 3rd then he shifts to 4th and soon you have to shift to 5th and hes still in 4th.

highway races with 4.10s suck

I dont do over 100 to often, was mainly venting because when im at the end of 4th the camaro always keeps pulling lol.
