Smile Mini of mine in 1/18.

Holidays are fun so I'm taking time to do a model of my car.
I know, I'm a big kid!

I found a GT500 model for cheap and a friend of mine gave me a 69 Mach that was beat up.
The Mach provided the Shaker, tri-bar pony for the upper grille and the most important part: the mirrors!
I found some Bullit wheels at a local hobby shop.

The challenge was to build my hood and the duck tail.
Well, the mirrors were tricky too.

Thanks Cutter.
I used more Bondo on this car than I would on a real one, lol.
Here's the hood ordeal...

Looks awesome!

I've been wanting to do the same, would need to start with a GT/CS, remove the hoodscoop and either make or transfer a GT500 spoiler. Then figure out how to match Vista blue to respray it. Wheels I would wait on since I have not decided what new wheels to put on my real car.
