two things:

As soon as the 5.0 becomes official, prices are going to fall dramaticaly on the 4.6. Prices have already started comming down cause people who know about it are already trying to get rid of them.

For the pricing. Take what ever the KBB value is, then take the value you spent on all your mods, then multiply that by about .25 and add it to the KBB. That would be about as high as you would resonably get in private sale. If you went to the dealer, you would loose money vs. the KBB value.

So with that in mind, I would think resonably you would only see about the 25% return on your parts selling the vehicle as is. Like others were saying, youll make more money selling the mods seperatly. Should be able to get at least 50% what you paid.

So my advise, part it out now, and sell the car soon. Otherwise your throwing your car in the mix with everyone trading in and parting out as soon as the 5.0 is in stock.

my 2 cents

I'm not budging off my car until I see this new 5L 4V output 600+whp reliably under FI... I'll consider upgrading to one at that point. I can wring 500 out of this 3V and look for a 4V when it kicks the bucket.

I wonder how much more the new 4V drivetrain weighs vs the current 3V?

and that is the truth spoken from upon high ground....get out while you can. too wait any longer will mean you possibly losing thousands of $$$

suggest you do it now, write off the idea of selling your car for any appreciable amount of $$$ come spring-time.

the value of any 05-10 Mustang is going to plummet. you will suddenly see the market over-burdened come April

I hope to god that the the MT82 isn't a moniker for a Mazda tranny

Ford used their crap back in the 90's and it was utter ****. 1st and 2nd gears ate themselves with just normal driving
