Default Whats Next??? (08 GT upgrades)

I have a 2008 GT/CS that I would like to get a little more performance out of. Right now I have a Roush CAI, Roush GT Extreme Performance exhaust, and JBA headers. Im thinking an Underdrive pulley is next followed by a predator chip. Am I on the right path? Should I consider something different? What more can I do after those upgrades to achieve more power other than supercharging it?

Do a sct x3 f tune from brenspeed followed by some 4:10 gears. With those two upgrades you will notice a huge performance boost.

Tune, underdrive pullies, alunimum drive shaft, or gears ( best bang for the money), if you don't do to much highway driving. You can also consider a different shifter. Have you addressed the suspension yet? you can spend alot there too. Then there is always brake mods.

If I were you I'd get a tuner which will waken up the car, gears also made mine noticeably faster... since I'm not in germany anymore 150 miles an hour is no longer needed...

The tune is coming, I think thats a definite must in the near future. I dont have a lot of experience with the rear end gears so im a little nervous about installing some 4.10's. The short throw shifter I could do.

The reason I havent touched the suspension is that this town has some huge speed bumps and dips. Even with my stock suspension I have major issues scraping my front end.

A custom tune is probably the best thing you could do. Other than than you could go on down the line of performance mods: headers, off road H or X (probably too loud for your setup), new throttle body, pulleys, AC delete, new intake manifold, delete plates, NOS... The list goes on an on...

One more vote for custom tunes. Suspension mods that will be a must are lower control arms and upper control arm. The reason they are a must is to eliminate wheel hop. They won't change suspension geometry.

I'd skip the ud pullies.

And another vote for a custom tune. I'm running a brenspeed tune for my stock 08 GT and the difference is huge. That sloppy drive-by-wire crap is gone. The car feels so much, sharper. Its really worth every penny of $380. It's also quite easy to switch between the tunes. I can do it in about a minute and a half and most of that time is spent staring at a progress bar.

Get a tune! It's quite fun.

Another great upgrade is a rear sway bar. It makes a bigger difference than springs, is easy to install, and doesn't compromise your ride comfort. They Steeda bar with bushings is only $140.
