Default C&L RACER CAI+Brenspeed tune

Just ordered C&L racer CAI From Brenspeed and their tune.
Did I bite too big or is this CAI work for me eventhough my car is stock.
Should I have gone with BBK CAI or is C&L Racer O.K.?
BTW. My car is 2007 GT with 25000 miles on the clock...
Looking for info.

Definitely didn't bite too big. I have read tons of posts across this site and other Mustang sites. A lot of people love the C&L. Not to mention you went with a great company. Brenspeed is top notch. I buy everything through them even if it is a little more expensive. I would go with the 91 or 93 tune they provide. If you have the money bump up the gears next and you will notice a huge difference.

You did fine. On a NA S197, all of the no-tune-required CAI's perform about the same. The C&L Racer is also a good choice in the event you ever go FI or any other mods that require a bit more air.

Just before you install the combo, do a little "spirited" driving including a few WOT runs to near red line. Then do the same AFTER the install (I take no responsibility for any traffic violations or other financial burdens incurred). Let us know what you think.

I have the C&L Street aluminum intake with the Brenspeed 91 FRPP cam tune. Awesome!

I don't understand why the C&L "Street" is more expensive than the "Racer" seeing how the street doesn't necessarily require a tune and is rated slightly less in performance?

Casting aluminum is much more expensive than forming plastic I would assume.
