Production number of a certain Mustang?

I can't believe that Mineral Grey isn't the rarest. I see Mustang GTs in LL all over the place. But I've only seen one MG Mustang GT. I've seen a few V6 MG cars though. I actually owned one before this'un.

Not even sure if I've even seen Mineral Grey. Did they turn that color into Tungsten Metallic (a little darker)?

Legend Lime is the rarest color per YEAR, but Sonic blue, Mineral gray (and maybe the yellow too?) were only available in 05' so I think that sonic blue is ACTUALLY the rarest color of the s197's... I might be wrong. In 05 and 06 the Limers were the rarest, but if you add the two years together, I think they added up to more than the sonic blues.. I may be wrong, as it was a while ago that I did the math.
I did one time see a forum post, I believe on the Legend Lime Registry that had a complete breakdown of the numbers. I think mine was one of 150 '05 LL GT hardtops with a manual, parchment interior and the boring "base" GT wheels. If memory serves, the '06 LLs were a bit rarer than the '05s.
Statistally speaking, the Limers are the least liked color of 'Stang, but so far I haven't had anyone say its ugly. Ive had a few "Well.... Thats an...."Interesting".... color to put on a Mustang", but Ive had more people say that they like it... Its usually woman that like it, so thats nice to know, lol. I know mine was lady owned prior to me. You can tell because the buttons on the radio are scratched up by someone with long, feminine nails, lol.
When I bought it, I KNEW that it was a love it/hate it color... Thats why I liked it. When buying something as main stream as a mustang, I wanted something that was still going to stand out.

I'm guessing from a business stand point from Ford is that they don't want certain colors to be valued more or less monetary wise than others due to X amount of production. Mustang A with same specs as Mustang B should be worth approx the same. I did notice that certain colors did cost marginally more from the factory but I think it's for the "type" of paint. Otherwise I'm sure they limit production of colors due to supply and demand. I would be interested to see the breakdown just as a mustang lover and out of curiosity.

Here's a site on Mustangs I go to a lot. I think they do have a break down by color, but I didn't see it. Keep looking around it's in there somewhere...maybe the main color chart/page..
