I ended up buying an 05 with 10k on the clock in june. It's all what you look for and what you want. My buddy just bought an '09 with 26k. Just all in what your looking for and how bad you want one. I love the front of the '10 but still am having problems with the rear, but it's growing on me. But if I was looking at a '10 then I'd just wait for the '11 lol. I have a friend who ships for basic june 10th, I think he's headed to GA. I'm not sure what he went in for though. Thanks for serving this country and HOOAH!!

I remember hearing about a water leak in the earlier stangs, 05-06 mainly where the floorboards got soaked somehow after it raining.
I've had my '06 since 12-2006 and never had that problem. There are a few problems going back in years, but they're not all that bad. wasvette has his '06 with 160,500 miles on it and its holding up very well.

Here's his thread:

My 06 has 60,000+ miles and no "water" leak problem. Most of my minor problems came early and was fix under the warranty, nothing big.

Really, you have to ask what you want from your car. Each year has dif colors, gear, and other options like heated seats on 07+.

I did have the water leak problem, but it was fixed immediately after we found the problem. We bought the car used with 38k on the odometer, got it for 17k, pretty good deal i think. no other problems with the car, almost 49k miles now
