So my `10 order got cancelled..

That's what we originally thought. I got the one appearance package that has the hood scoop, window louvers, side scoops and raised spoiler. My dealer said that may have been it, but he called me back later and said that they simply weren't building them anymore.
Hopefully he can figure something out in order to get me in a Mustang GT sooner, rather than later.

2010V6Stang- I know I could just get these added to a GT off the lot, but when doing a dealer search before, we couldn't find one that matched what I wanted. Hence, we had to order one.
def67- I don't doubt they are still being built, just that mine must not have made the cutoff for getting the order completed before the factory switched over the the 2011 models. He is supposed to call me today and let me know exactly what we're going to have to do.
SirDrums- That was my assumption. I'm thinking I just didn't make the cut. They have to start cutting orders sometime in order to switch over, so I guess I'm just SOL until I can order a 2011.

I wanted the GT, so I ordered back in December, thinking I'd have it by Feb/March. Waiting on the `11 will push me back to the summer now.
Plus, I'm sure the 5.0 will make the insurance quote I got for the 2010 GT jump a bit. A 24 y/o single male with a 5.0 GT Mustang? Hello, astronomical insurance rate.

You could always get a used 07-09 GT500. They can be had in the 30's.
Also, when you turn 25 the insurance will go down a lot so it shouldn't be that bad.

Considering I just turned 24 last week, I'll have to pay high insurance for a bit. But, thinking about it now, if I don't get the car until June, I'd only have to pay that high amount for six months. This could work out.

I'm 28 and I pay $900 / year for full coverage including a $250 deductible and $100,000/$300,000 policy.
