I'm kinda thinking the same way, but if I were to go mainstream, a good bang for buck is the SSS terminator (yea, I know, not a MM system)

I was really wanting to give the sss terminators a try. They are pretty much identical to stingers aren't they?

But thanks Silas your gonna be happy with those.

I am running the stock mufflers with Bassani catted X, and BBK shorties. It is plenty loud and has a nice hollow growl.

Nice, my highflow catted H trumpeted at high rpm, Than i ran a catted X and it sounded great and not trumpeting, but not loud enough. My o/r x trumpets a bit but its loud, just not as deep as i hoped for. Some day i may be happy with it

just bought my mm system.

Sound is great and the tips look nice.

However dont try the install yourself. Take it to a shop that can fix the exhaust from hanging to low, sticking out and crappy fitment. The only thing I didnt like about the exhaust.

borla stingers and catted Pypes H did it for me, then I modified them to Roush square tips with the matching valance and now it sounds like pure SEX! I have had people in new slowmaros to people in gt500 give me compliments on sound. It really sounds amazing. I was never really satisfied with the sound of the new 3v since i came from having a 96 gt back in the day but with this set up i think it just sounds great. Im going FI soon I hope it doesnt change the sound for the bad..
