My dad's buying a foose vert!!!

Well, it's happening...my dad's finally going to trade in his black six and buy a V8. Even better, he's looking at a Foose stallion! :D

He's been in love with foose, ever since we started watching "Overhaulin'" on TV. The only thing he doesn't like about it is the absence of a faux gas cap in the back, which is easily solved with this.

Other than that, the Foose has pretty good styling. The wheels are always winners, and so are the fascias.

So this is going to be pretty cool...I hope I don't like it too much, Rose might get jealous...LOL!

congrats to your dad...make sure to post some pictures!

Oh, yeah, I definitely will. He's leaning towards the grey vert but we're also looking at a vista blue coupe. They sound AWESOME with the ford racing high flows.

I'm going to miss that six a little bit...it was the first mustang I ever drove. I've probably modded that one out more than my own. But I'm glad he's finally getting a V8.

Get the vista blue coupe! Post some pics when the time comes though

I'm pretty sure we're going with the coupe at this point, actually. The gray vert is wayyy more and has more mileage on it.

Have him join the forum. We need more old farts like me in here.

+1 on the old farts. I love the sarcasm they bring along with helpful info.

I don't think my old man could bring in helpful info...he's not very knowledgeable about cars...not saying I'm a genius on them, but he'd be the one on the receiving end of the helpful info. Just like me, most of the time. :D I'll just tell him to nod and take in info from other people's questions...like I did. You know this forum is how I learned about cars. :D

*Also. Speaking of foose...anyone who watches overhaulin, did you see that one where they overhaul that little brat's mercury comet? That's the worst one I've ever seen....the way she ACTS...ugh... :icon_doh:

You call it sarcasm; I call it frustration...
  • At having to wear my reading glasses when I'm under the car so I can see up close....
  • At how sore I am the day after spending 2 or 3 hours under the car...
  • At how many frickin times I drop microfiber towels on the ground and have to toss them aside...
  • At how my g/f and I argue over which of the 2 Stangs we're going to take a cruise in...
  • At how I can't drive thru an entire tank of gas before having to stop to take a piss...
  • At how I try to screw with cops and they just look over and roll their eyes at the old fart laying rubber (I was even coasting down from 120 MPH and a cop that came from NOWFRICKIN'WHERE pulls up next to me at 80 MPH, shakes his head and takes off)...

I am a welder and most of the guys I work with at the shop are 45-60 years old and I am always giving them hell because they are always whining about their back and knees hurting, and they all have to take a piss every 10 minutes and wear their old man reading glasses too.
