Brake noise on my 10 GT!!
Hey guys I just moved to TN for a few months and had pretty long drive from Maryland to TN, anyway I have noticed around here in traffic that my brakes make a whomp whomp whomp noise when I gradually brake and I feel that the pedal it kinda feels rougher than what it use to when I brake! Could this be due to me not rotating my tires yet I have 9200 miles on the car, and have done a few burnouts nothing major, and have driven it some. Could this be because of the uneven tread wear? Would having the tires rotated help the brakes from feeling rougher and the whomp whomp noise?w

Do you feel the brake pedal pulse as you stop? If so could be warped brake rotors... Tire rotations vary by mfr. Varies from 5000mi to 8000mi. Rotate the tires and see if the problem is still there. Good Luck!

Might have some built up pad material on your rotors too, I highly doubt you have warped rotors already. The whooping sounds like tire wear, if it's that bad sounding already you can typically feel it with touch on the tread.
Like the other guy said rotate and see what happens. The pad material on the rotors will eventually wear away with a few harder stops.

Im thinking it is uneven tread wear, Imma get em rotated. I hope that it is not warped rotors, I just got rid of my truck because of that and GM would not fix it after I had been in there 7 times in one year under warrenty!
