lol I get ripped all the time! But I don't really mind, seeing as I pick on GT500s and LS3 vettes with my little automatic mustang

If I wanted an auto, I'd want the Government to shift the car for me as well...
Oh wait!!................ There's GM!

Jokes aside, to me, a slush box makes sense only when you're caught in traffic or when you want to seriously drag race.

I pity the moron that tells me I'm wrong for having an auto or a manual...

people with 5 speeds see it as why wouldnt you get 5 speed? Better acceleration, better mpg and in general a LOT more fun to drive. but if you have a clean sick auto stang, props.

I wouldnt go that far.....auto's are notorious for being faster in a straight line/ accelerating with the right setup.

a stalled auto/decent valvebody/trans is nothing to **** with, especially with some power behind it

I would be suprised if I could run with in a full second with a 5 speed what my car will do with my built auto.

and the 05+ 5 speed autos are some sweet *** trannys, I dont know about you but when I go to the track I See 05+ autos running consistenlty faster than the 5 speed counterparts for the most part.

I do wish I would have bought the manual, BUT this auto has come in handy at times. Especially the days where the traffic is real bad.

What's interesting, is the new 6 speed auto for 2011 will get BETTER MPG than the manual 6 speed. Usually it's the other way around so I just wonder how they're pulling that off.

the automatic stall is very true. i am talking stock here. There isnt a huge difference but it is there. Also the new mustang must be geared lower or something.

Simply I couldn't find a v6 manual transmission. The only GT that I looked at had an auto and 75k miles on it. The only other two cars that I've owned where manuals. I looked online and all around the WNY area till I settled on my car. I guess manual transmissions are really becoming a thing of the past (at least in this country).

My 03 Mach is an automatic & I love it. I was actually looking for an auto when I bought my 09 GT. I like both setups.

Both auto and manual trannys have their pros and cons. Drive what you like. My second mustang was an auto... for the first month I owned it. Then I swapped in a T-5.
