2010 Mustang HF Radio Frequency Interference
I have discovered a large amount of RF noise (~54 dbv) being generated by my 3 month old 2010 Mustang GT. A friend with a 2008 GT and has a very clean RF environment.
Both of us have installed HF Amateur Radio transceivers in our respective cars. Both of us have installed ferrites on the radio input for power, microphones, remote speakers, and remote control heads. In my car, this 54 db of noise exists from 7 MHz to 54MHz but is not present on the VHF and UHF bands (144 MHz or 440 MHz). I have not detected this on the Sirius (2.3 GHz), or the commercal FM channels (87-108 MHz) or the much lower commercial AM band (0.52-1.61 MHz).
The problem disappears when the radio antenna is removed so it appears to be something creating an RF field that is enveloping the antenna (trunk mounted very near the fixed AM/FM antenna) as opposed to being induced into the radio cables.
The problem is first seen when the ignition key is taken to the ON position but not the START position and before the engine is running.
Ford has had this problem before with their Explorer, and possibly other models. Based upon my friend's experience (same radio, same antenna, nearly identical mounting locations) there appears to be something new about the 2010 Mustang causing this problem.
Has anyone had similar RF problems on the new 2010 Mustang or 2010 Mustang GT? This problem would affect CB installation as well as HF Amateur Radio installations. How was it resolved?
Does anyone know if Ford has changed the Fuel pump (expected culprit), or how it is installed, on the 2010 Mustang from that of previous years?

In addition to what Art161 mentioned above, a forum member named FordEngineer is involved in the current design of the electronics (electrical/entertainment) systems.
